I'm a superhero. It's true. My power? I freeze time. I take a moment, capture it, and preserve it for a lifetime. My promise to you is this: to make the best portraits of you that you've ever seen.
A native Chicagoan, I'm a wife and homeschooling mother that fell in love with photography as a youngster. I would pour over magazines and study the images, but I didn't know it could be a career.
When my children were little, I realized how important it was to document, well, us! Us as a family. The children individually. Friends. Changes. Travel. I wanted images of it all. I don't have a lot of pictures of me as a child, or even of my parents or grandparents. I knew that time is fleeting, and I wanted to capture it!
Turning my love and hobby of photography into a business has been an adventure! I have exhibited internationally and am a member of the Reial Cercle Artistic de Barcelona, Professional Photographers of America, and PPANI.
I photograph a limited amount of weddings annually so I can give my clients the custom experience for which they are looking. I want to be the photographer that grows with you, watching you return year after year.
In addition to loving my family, I thrive on travel and meeting new people. Let's get together over a great cuppa and plan a session worthy of documentation!

Sonce Landa specializes in children, families, and senior photography in the Chicagoland area. Sonce Landa is not limited to these areas and is willing to travel for sessions worldwide.
